Corvette

The first Corvette rolled off the assembly line in June of 1953. After 55 years of production, the popular Corvette sports car continues to be the dream car of many car collectors and enthusiasts. Corvette has undergone many styling changes over the past six decades. One of the series gaining popularity is the C3 or shark series.  The C3 Corvette was built from 1968 to 1982, during the muscle car era of the seventies. A popular website for Corvette C3 owners is corvettec3.ca This site has lots of valuable information and links for maintaining these cars.
In order to make these cars more fuel efficient, some owners are converting the transmissions over to overdrive.  One of the kits documented is a 5-speed TKO designed for the C3 cars. There are many engine options available for these cars but one of the more popular replacement options is the ZZ4 GM crate engine. This is a very affordable 355 HP option. CorvetteC3.ca has many pictures of these cars and content is added and updated on a regular basis.
